An additional experienced and highly motivated vet required to join a thriving Equine sector and dedicated team based on the edge of the Lake District, Penrith, North Cumbria. We are an XL Vet member Practice with over 80 years of experience. This position provides genuine long term prospects within a vibrant and independent mixed practice. The equine work covers a wide range of disciplines including racing, competition, stud and pleasure horses. Much of this is ambulatory work however we also encourage work to be brought to our purpose built premises. Clinicians are supported by an experienced team of nurses both at the practice and out in the field along with the usual range of digital equipment available. Having an interest in stud work is beneficial to help with our busy seasonal workload of AI mares resident at the practice. CATTLE ADVANCED BREEDING/CLINICAL FARM VET
Full or part-time position available for an experienced vet with an interest in cattle breeding and advanced breeding techniques to support our established IVF and embryo transfer services. Training will be provided for the right candidate, particularly in ovum pick-up and IVF donor management, with involvement in both our continuing research work and busy clinical farm practice available if desired.
