I am the senior member of the ET team based at Hexham.
Although I spent some years in mixed practice after qualifying, I have specialised in ET related activities since 1976 - both in the research field and in commercial practice.
I am very interested in all aspects of farm animal reproduction but I have always especially enjoyed bringing new technologies to commercial practice, with embryo sexing and OPU/IVF being the most recent examples.
Apart from ET I am also involved in the general practice management group and I am Chairman of the Board. I have been happily married to my soul-mate Maggie for over 30 years and have 2 daughters and a son. As a hobby we breed British White cattle - Red Start and Linnet are shown above.
