'Tarka' at his final post operative appointment |
Tarka was brought in to us in early October after suffering severe trauma to his face. He had probably been in an accident involving the bin lorry. The impact had broken both his lower and upper jaws, effectively splitting his head down the middle. After a long stay in hospital being fed down a tube in his neck and operations to wire and pin his face together Tarka was doing well. Unfortunately his eye that had been left blind by the accident began to cause problems and so it was removed.
