Maintenance diet
(18 months to adulthood)
An adult pet requires a diet to suit its level of activity and lifestyle. Pet dogs and cats will require a fairly low energy level food, whereas a working dog would require a high energy food. Small dog requirements are not the same as for large dogs and diets vary accordingly. Choose a complete diet which will be balanced in order to maintaince general health. Treats and titbits should be kept to a minimum to prevent obesity and picky eating.
