ROYAL COLLEGE OF VETERINARY SURGEONS

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is the regulatory body for veterinary surgeons in the United Kingdom and ensures that standards within the veterinary profession are maintained, safeguarding the health and welfare of animals and the interests of the public.

   
BVA

The BVA, is the national representative body for the British veterinary profession. Most working veterinary surgeons are members of the Association and of more than 50 geographical and specialist divisions.  

   

DAIRY SCIENCE FORUM

The Dairy Science Forum is a long-established, ad hoc group of individuals, each well recognised and specialised in a particular segment of the industry. Membership is limited and by invitation to ensure representation at an appropriate level across the breadth of the dairy industry.

The objectives of the Forum include:

· understanding and disseminating the contribution of research, development and extension to dairy science and practice,

· defining future areas of activity that may enhance efficient productivity and improve the well-being of the cow to fortify a viable dairy industry.

   

JERSEY CATTLE SOCIETY OF THE UNITED KINGDOM

"The Jersey Society exists to promote Jersey cattle breeding in the UK with total cow numbers increasing by more than 50 per cent since 1999. The Jersey is the second largest dairy breed in the UK"

   
LLEYN SHEEP SOCIETY

" The Lleyn ewe is very versatile, being good mothers, milky, prolific, & producing lambs of good conformation. The Lleyn fits into many farming systems and enables you to keep a closed flock".

   
PENTALK

The aims have been to reduce isolation and provide a skills boost to deal with the increasing insistence on computerised farm returns. Nearly 500 members of farming families received computers and training in the first year.

   
CANINE HYDROTHERAPY ASSOCIATION

The Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA) is a UK based organisation that is non-profit making and whose aims are to provide self-regulation and set benchmark standards of treatment, operation, training, supervision, first aid, record keeping and water quality for all our members

MILLINGTON LIMOUSINS

The Millington herd recently achieved major awards at the Royal, Royal Welsh and Royal Highland Shows. Most recent being Interbreed Champion at both the Royal Welsh and the Royal Highland with our home bred Millington Tangerine.
