Equine

Our busy equine team covers the full range from companion donkeys through to racehorses and top-flight competition animals, and all will receive the best possible care and attention.

We can visit clients’ own stables to carry out examinations and treatment – or patients can be brought to our facility at Townhead Farm in Newbiggin for more involved investigation, treatment and aftercare.

We work closely with Vets in other referral centres and universities, as well as Farriers and Equine Physiotherapists to ensure the very best of treatment for all our patients. We also have dedicated paddocks for our in-patients so we can monitor their recovery.
