I have a keen interest in Fell ponies and the Fell Pony Syndrome and have been involved in several research projects on the subject. I also particularly enjoy lameness and racing work.
In my spare time I am a keen artist and sculptor.
Gregor Hepburn - BVM&S MRCVS
I graduated from Edinburgh Royal (Dick) Vet school in July 2015. I have a strong interest in equine medicine and having been brought up on a mixed farm in the Scottish borders, I am happy with all things large animal based. I am a keen horse rider with a particular interest in racehorses. While not at work I can either be found with the local hunt or helping on the farm.
Kelly Smith - BSc (hons)
I have worked at Paragon since October 2008. Prior to working here I had just completed an Equine Sports Science degree at Nottingham Trent University. I work within the equine department at Newbiggin, both on and off site and occasionally assist with other large animal work. I am responsible for caring for the equine in-patients at Newbiggin and assisting with lameness investigations and surgery.
Outside of work I have recently had a baby and have a range of horses at home:from youngsters to an old pony. I compete regularly at BS shows with my horse Kimberly and many of you may see me at local shows.
