Gary Lewin

I have post graduate qualifications in Veterinary Ophthalmology and Small Animal Surgery.  I work mainly at our Newbiggin surgery but also hold ophthalmology clinics and operate at the Bishopton Veterinary Group in Ripon.  I carry out ocular and intraocular surgery including cataract extraction and artificial lens implantation.  Much of my operating is carried out using an operating microscope and I have a particular interest in microvascular and reconstructive surgery. 

When not at work I enjoy fell shuffling (like fell running but a bit slower) despite the occasional creaking joint.
